The Third Place winner, Lilly Martin, was unable to attend the recognition ceremony.

This year’s oratorical topic was “How to Change the World with Optimism.” The students delivered their speeches following the club’s weekly luncheon.  Club members expressed their pleasure in the quality of the presentations and the positive influence parents and teachers have on the students.

Elyse and Sabrina advanced to the Zone 7 contest where Elyse finished second and will compete for a college scholarship in the East Missouri District contest on May 4.
